Actress and television host Kris Aquino delivered a 4.3-pound baby boy via Caesarean section at Makati Medical Center Thursday, ABS-CBN News reported.Aquino gave birth around 4:50 p.m. to James Yap Jr.
The baby is Aquino's second son and her first child with husband, basketball superstar James Yap. The newborn is the eighth grandchild of former president Corazon Aquino.
Reports said the actress, who is on her 35th week of pregnancy, went to MMC for a regular check-up but ended up undergoing a CS.
She had earlier announced that she will give birth last week of April.
