Initial reports suggest that the explosion might came from a parked vehicle of a visitor. 3 congressmen and 6 staff were reported injured, and 1 dead inside a vehicle. They are expecting more injured personnel as the place is being surveyed.
President Arroyo ordered the PNP on the immediate determination of the cause of the said explosion.
